Description

F-35 Squadron Operations Addition and Alteration; Project Numbers: FAKZ189102. The 187th Fighter Wing intends to aw ard a firm fixed-price contract for services to renovate communication building 1109, as per Specifications and Draw ings Dated 22 Nov 2022. Project Number FAKEnclosureZ189102 w ill include Construction of an approximate 3,300 square foot addition housing the Base's Squadron Operations Functions specific to the F-35. The Magnitude is betw een $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this project is 236220. The Small Business Size Standard is $45,000,000. This aw ard is 100% set aside for Small Business. Provide Construction Services Non-Personal, to include material, labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies to construct an approximate 3,300 square foot addition housing the Base's Squadron Operations Functions specific to the F-35. Within the new addition, special facilities include secure and non-secure office space, storage space, secure storage room and expanded performance element. The renovation scope will be approximately 1,300 square feet of modification to serve the functions specific to the F-35. Within building 1303, special facilities include reconfiguration of non-secure office, training, and storage spaces. Modifications to secure spaces are limited to power, data, and security modifications. One existing non-secure area will be converted into a separate dedicated secure working area. FOB: Destination NOTICE OF PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT: a. A pre-bid conference will be conducted on 7 March 2023 at 1000 hours Central Time for the purposes of briefing on the bid requirements and answering questions regarding this solicitation. This conference will be held at 5187 Selma Highway, Montgomery, Al. 36208-4824 Bldg. 1502 Wing Auditorium. Interested Contractors are highly encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference. The site visit will be held following the conference. b. Due to security conditions, all offerors must register to attend this conference and site visit. Complete the Entry Authority List (EAL) this is posted with this announcement and email it to stephen.shanks.1@us.af.mil and peter_john.ungacta.1@us.af.mil. c. This information must be provided in advance, 3 business days prior to the meeting, to ensure access to the military base and conference site and ensure adequate seating for the conference attendees. Even if you have access to the base you must register to ensure adequate seating. The furnishing of the above information is voluntary; however, your failure to furnish all or part of the requested information may result in the Government's denial of your access to the pre-proposal conference.
