Description | A. Existing Site is Fully Developed. Below is a list of new buildings, facilities and related Work. Unless noted otherwise, all other existing site features and facilities are to remain (i.e. perimeter fences, landscaping, grading, stormwater management system and components; underground utilities). B. The underground stormwater management system is designed and has been implemented as part of the SR 3025-MIT. The site grading contract associated with the SR 3025-MIT highway project included design of the stormwater storage detention tanks for the entire site. SR 3025- MIT has installed the drainage items on this site (inlets, piping, underground stormwater detention system) as part of the site grading work. SR 3025-MIT has secured stormwater approval from the Township of Concord including a paved finish pad for the buildings and facilities identified below that are to be constructed under this Contract. C. The retaining wall to protect wetlands area; perimeter fencing with privacy slats and sliding gate; all necessary runoff grading including spillway & underground detention; the oil/water separator for the site and a separate unit for the truck wash; some finished sidewalks, curbing and plow pads; electric service demarcation; and complete rough base layer of asphalt on yard are among the existing site improvements that are to remain. D. Buildings & Facilities to be constructed on this Site as part of this Project are: 1. Salt Storage Building 2. Two (2) Winter Material Storage Buildings 3. Equipment Storage Building 4. Personnel Staging Building 5. Truck Wash Building (Including adjoining Tool Sheds) 6. Brine Making and associated Brine Storage Tanks & Containment Area 7. E3 Oil Storage Tank and Containment Area 8. Dumpster Pad and associated Work 9. Emergency Generator and Pad 10. All associated Gas, Water, Electric & Telephone Utility distribution and building connections within the site. 11. Miscellaneous other Work as indicated on Drawings and Specifications. General Phase 1.1 HVAC Phase 1.2 Plumbing Phase 1.3 Electrical Phase 1.4 The Goals for each Prime Contract is as follows: SDB AND VBE GOALS .1 General Construction – ALL BASE BIDS (#1, #2 & #3) SDB = 11% VBE = 3% .2 HVAC Construction – ALL BASE BIDS (#1, #2 & #3 SDB = N/A VBE = N/A .3 Plumbing Construction – ALL BASE BIDS (#1, #2 & #3) SDB = N/A VBE = N/A .4 Electrical Construction ALL BASE BIDS (#1, #2 & #3) SDB = 13% VBE = 3% |
