Description

Utility repair contractor’s scope of work begins at Step 3. Step 1: Utility repair on road is made by City. Step 2: City fills in trench with flowable fill concrete and I-19.0B pavement flush with existing pavement for temporary condition. Step 3: Utility Repair Contractor mobilizes to site and mills out asphalt to 2” depth and to width determined by inspector, but generally 1 foot outside original utility cut. Step 4: Utility Repair Contractor installs 2” of SF9.5A pavement flush with surrounding asphalt. See attached “Utility Patch Detail.
