Description | The Project or Work consists of the construction of new and modified wastewater treatment facilities including solids screening, pre-dewatering facilities, thermal hydrolysis process and feed systems, anaerobic digesters, digester gas treatment systems, process steam systems, fats, oils, and grease receiving, and other related treatment plant facilities and upgrades. The Sidestream Treatment - Bid Package No. 12 entails the construction of the new Sidestream Treatment Process Tank, IFAS Clarifier, Service Building, and new Filtrate Pump Station to be constructed as part of the Project. The CMAR and Owner have pre-qualified Contractors as listed in the Advertisement for Bids. Only these bidders will be permitted to submit bid proposals. Bidders are notified that Chapter 87, Article(s) 1, 2, & 4 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding contracts. Bidders for this Project must be licensed with the appropriate classifications and limitations. In-person attendees are strongly encouraged to wear a face mask subject to more stringent, local requirements which may be issued by the City of Raleigh or other governmental agencies having jurisdiction Furthermore, the City's goal is to contract or sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount to certified MWBEs on construction projects over $300,000, or with contracts that include $100,000 or more in state funding. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to CMAR in writing only via email to NeuseBERP@crowderusa.com. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by CMAR, in response to such questions, will be issued by Addenda mailed, emailed, or delivered to all parties recorded by CMAR as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) working days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
