Description | The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a 12,303 square-foot one-story senior community center. The structure will be steel frame and metal stud walls. The roof will be steel joists with metal deck. Exterior walls will be a combination of brick veneer, cementitious siding, and aluminum storefront doors and window systems. Roof system will be standing seam metal and flat membrane. A therapeutic pool is included in this facility. Water is drained be gutters and downspout at metal roof and roof drains at membrane roof. Mechanical system will be a direct-expansion HVAC system with a dedicated dehumidification unit for the pool space. Electrical system will provide adequate receptacles in each room along with lighting occupancy sensors. Technology will be provided with fire alarm in all spaces. Data and phone will be provided as box and conduit. Site work will consist of new utilities: water, sewer, storm, fire protection, and gas. New detention ponds will be constructed. Paved parking, walkways, and pickle ball courts are a part of the site work, as well as landscaping.
