Request for Proposals Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event the Seneca County Public Health Department Is Soliciting Proposals From New York State Licensed Hazardous Waste Service Providers for the Purpose of Handling, Transporting, and Disposing of Household Hazardous Waste in an Environmentally Conscious Manner. All Waste Will Be Collected From Local Households During a One Day Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event. This One Day Event Will Be Held in Late September-october, 2022. All Proposals for the Handling, Transportation, and Environmentally Safe Disposal of Household Hazardous Waste Must Be Submitted to the Seneca County Manager's Office, Attn: Amanda Vavra, 1 Dipronio Drive, Waterloo, New York 13165. All Questions Regarding the Proposals Should Be Directed (in Writing) to Julie a. Hoster, Public Health Sanitarian at 2465 Bonadent Drive Suite 3, Waterloo, Ny 13165 or Jhoster@co.seneca.ny.us. The Final Work Plans for the Collection Events Are Contingent on the Issuance of New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (Dec) Approvals. The Responsibilities of the Contractor as Outlined in the Rfp Are Subject to Changes, Which May Result From Conditions Imposed by the Dec. The Formal Contract Between Seneca County and the Firm Selected to Provide the Services for These Projects Will Include the Dec Approval (Permit) as an Article.
