Road Materials

The County is seeking proposals from interested and qualified firms to provide various road materials throughout San Bernardino County. To require contractor to file a performance bond as directed by the County s Director of Public Works in an RFB in a penal sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. To require at the time of bid on an individual project, a specific State of California Contractor s License. Local Preference The San Bernardino County has adopted a Local Preference Policy. A local preference of five percent (5%). To assess liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 against Contractor for each and every calendar day’s delay in finishing the work in excess of the number of working days prescribed in the RFB in the amount identified in the RFB.
