RFQ Engineering - Sidbury Road and Greenview Area Force Main

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) is seeking an engineering firm experienced with survey, design and permitting services for the Sidbury Road and Greenview Area Sewer Force Main project. The project consists of constructing three (3) new sections of force main in the locations identified on the attached map. This includes two sections of 10-inch force main along Plantation Road and one section of 16-inch force main along Sidbury Road. These projects were identified in the Preliminary Engineering Report - Sidbury and Greenview Area Water and Sewer Utilities, prepared by McKim & Creed and Hazen, July 2020. The design of these projects is funded by New Hanover County and the design is managed by CFPUA. Construction funding will be determined at a later date. The selected consultant will provide engineering services generally as follows: Complete the design and permitting in accordance with the schedule shown in this RFQ Gather and evaluate available information provided by CFPUA and perform preliminary field investigations as needed for design Perform survey and SUE activities and provide design drawings and easement maps. Prepare detailed design and specifications for bidding Obtain all necessary permits and encroachment agreements Provide traffic control plans if required. Provide bidding assistance Construction based services may be award at the time of construction contract. One firm will be selected for this request for qualifications.
