Description

Construct a community center to replace Creekside Community Center. A community center needs assessment completed in 2015 found the following the following space needs could be served by a new community center: large multipurpose room, indoor playground, multi-use classrooms, running/walking track, gymnasium and fitness areas. In 2016, a community center task force recommended that in addition to these amenities, an indoor aquatics facility should also be included in a new community center. *Expenditures may occur over several years. Bonding will generally occur prior to construction. Note 4-1-20 changed status from active to pending. Combined this project into CF-20-024 Creekside/Public Health Replacement. BE This project is in included in the City of BloomingtonFY 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of January 19, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
