The provisions contained in this section are intended to be cooperative with, to supplement, or to modify Instructions to Bidders and Terms and Conditions. In case of any conflict with such sections, the intent of any kind and all Technical Specifications shall govern. 1.1 All concrete shall be Class I or Class NS meeting the current specifications of the Florida Department of Transportation. 1.2 Prices shall be per cubic yard delivered- or County pick up. 1.3 The County reserves the option to add item(s) within the scope of the bid; by accepting a mutually agreed upon price using the County regular Procurement Procedures. Small Business Enterprise Program Participation Alachua County has adopted a 15% participation goal, and policies which encourage participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) in the provision of goods, services and construction. 2. Good Faith Effort Requirements In accordance with Section 22.36, Alachua County Code 06-28, every competitive bid or proposal, if not submitted by a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE), must demonstrate good faith efforts to utilize SBE as subcontractors to be considered responsive.
