Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor and materials required to complete the job in a workmanlike manner such as: This includes, but is not limited to: 1)Contain the work area Minimize dust, Clean up thoroughly, Coordinate with the building management on the construction schedule. Work on the 34 units shall be divided into four sequential work schedules. 2)The work illustrated on the construction drawings may be undertaken initially on up to 10 apartment units. After the substantial completion of those 10 units, the Mobile Housing Board shall be allowed up to 8 calendar days to relocate residents and have the next set of units available for the work. 3)All work on the 34 units shall be substantially complete within 75 days as per the Contract Period listed in section 25. 4)Work for each of the 34 units is illustrated on the construction drawings and shall include: Removal and storage of the existing toilet, Removal of the existing bathroom floor tile and base (not including the shower), Removal of the existing bedroom and closet flooring and base, Installation of new bathroom floor tile & base with floor sloping to the shower, Installation of a new marble threshold, Installation of new bedroom and closet tile floor with slope up to the bathroom door threshold, Installation of a toilet flange extension for the new floor tile height, Reinstallation of the toilet, Relocation of the side H.C. toilet grab bar, Relocation of the H.C. toilet rear grab bar, Relocation of the toilet tissue dispenser, Adjustment to the remaining bathroom fixtures and accessories where needed for the required locations illustrated on the construction drawings.
