The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 8)has eight (8)facility locations in need of expedited procurement Capabilities to provide simplified non-complex, general construction services for lower dollar construction projects, Alterations, and repairs of buildings and structures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 236220, General Contractors. The Small Business size standard is 39.5 million. This acquisition is a 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The maximum aggregate value for each contract shall not exceed $10,000,000.00. The guaranteed minimum award amount for each contract is $2,000.00. The solicitation is 100% set-aside to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed-price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a non-commercial item. The construction IDIQ contracts shall provide construction work at an indefinite-delivery indefinitequantity by placing individual task orders with the contractors within the minimum $2,000.00 and maximum limitations of $250,000.00 per task order. Aggregate value for each awarded contract shall not exceed $10,000,000.00. The minimum guarantee for each awarded IDIQ is $2,000.00 which meets the FAR 16.5 requirement. Page 8 of 88 CONTRACT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE This is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract for the maintenance, repair and minor construction work. OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT The initial period of performance for each contract will be twelve (12) months from contract Award. The Government has the option to extend the services for four (4) additional twelve (12) month periods. Preliminary notice of intent to exercise the option shall not commit the Government to renewal; however, the option must be exercised by the "Option Exercise Date". Exercise of option shall be evidenced by modification to the contract. Option shall be considered exercised at the time the Government submits a written notification to the Contractor. Options may be exercised subject to funds becoming available prior to commencement of any performance.
