AMCO 1209 Site - Excavation Activities

The Work includes demolition and replacement of the roadway and sidewalks within the excavation area, excavation of soils to the prescribed depths within the excavation area, removing and managing light non-aqueous phase liquid (LNAPL) when observed, segregation of excavation spoils for reuse or offsite disposal (if LNAPL impacts observed), characterization of all wastes generated during the work and obtaining approval from disposal facility for offsite disposal, transportation and disposal of all wastes generated during the work for offsite disposal, support of excavation and protection of adjacent properties and structures throughout the work (including excavation shoring and bracing), dust and odor control, utility management and temporary re-route as necessary to maintain utility use during the work, excavation dewatering, backfill and compact imported clean fill (and reusable site soil if approved by Engineer), site restoration, and ancillary tasks as necessary to complete the work
