Chip Ross Natural Area Trail Construction

The work consists of construction of approximately 3,200 linear feet of a new gravel trail, culvert, and swale in the Chip Ross Natural Area. The trail width will vary between 3 and 6 feet wide. The trail must have a side slope of no less than 1.5% and no more than 2.5%. The trail width may vary based on site conditions. Trail layout and width must be approved by the Project Manager. The area is somewhat remote, access is limited, and there is poison oak throughout the site. Terrain varies in elevation and is uneven in some areas.
