Air Handler Replacement

1. Demo existing AHU1 and replace with new air handling system per the drawings. All demoed equipment shall be site cleared. 2. AHU1 is located on the ground floor of the North building. There is an elevator that can be used, how ever it will be the contractors responsibility break down and re-assemble any equipment as needed in order to get the equipment into the existing air handler room. 3. Johnson Controls in the County’s current controls contractor. All control work shall be performed by Johnson Controls as part of this project, however the controls portion of the project cost shall be broken out from the overall project on the bid form. The intent is to re-use as many of the existing controls as possible in order to keep controls cost minimal. 4. The project has two alternates listed on the bid form. Alternate1 is to replace the relief air plenum per the drawings and alternate2 is add a relief fan per the drawings 5. Provide a one year parts and labor warranty.
