Dubuque Industrial Center McFadden Farm - South Heacock Road Construction - 250-1093 - City of Dubuque

This project will construct Phase 1 of the South Heacock Road Improvements and extend the roadway north to provide access to approximately 43 acres north of Duluth Trading. Previously the City constructed a connection to Chavenelle Road and extended the roadway to a temporary cul-de-sac. This phase constructs the roadway to the north and provides a cul-de-sac to accomodate a future connection. The 43 acres of new developable land lies in the McFadden Farm area. Economic Development and Engineering are working on ROW acquisition from the Theisen's and the Behnke Farm. There is a separate CIP to accomplish the platting and acquisition of ROW. This project is in included in the City of Dubuque FY 2023 - 2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of June 17, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
