CTH D Causeway

Description: The work includes raising the grade of the CTH D causeway across Buffalo Lake in Marquette County. The CTH D roadway will be reconstructed for approximately 1800-ft from the bridge south of Lake Street to Freedom Road. Project work includes pulverizing asphalt, excavation, lightweight fill comprised of wood chips, salvaged materials, select borrow, base aggregate dense, HDPE culvert pipes, sheet piling shoring, riprap, erosion control, restoration, and other miscellaneous items in conformance to the Contract Documents. Finishing work including asphalt, shouldering, and pavement markings will be done by county forces after completion of this project. Site Directions: Causeway project located on CTH D between Lake St. and Freedom Rd. in town of Packwaukee. Est. Completion Date: Oct. 1, 2024 Questions received less than two days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Question Deadline 02/13/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than two days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
