Landscape Installation for Various Locations

1. Plants shall be installed at the existing grade using sound horticultural practices. 2. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Town and call 811 for underground locates and repair any damage that occurs when digging. 3. Care shall be taken to prevent plants from drying out prior to and during installation 4. Installation prices shall include minor bed preparation and mulching of the new sites. 5. Mulch shall be applied at the depth of 3 inches and shall be kept three inches away from shrub stems and six inches from tree trunks. Mulch specifications are list below in SectionI. 6. Projects shall not be considered complete until all trash and surplus materials have been collected and properly disposed of. 7. The Contractor shall provide service within twenty-one working days of notification from the Town, or at a time mutually agreed upon with the Town representative. The anticipated start date is in early January 2020. 8. The installation shall include the watering of trees at the frequency as necessary to keep the plants healthy through the warranty period. The installation of bubblers by the Contractor, to an existing Town irrigation system nearby may be approved by the Town’s representative. It is the contractor’s responsibility to notify the Town if the irrigation system is not working. The contractor is responsible for providing adequate water to the plants during the warranty period.
