| Description | Project consists of the improvements for Cottage-Magnolia Street Rehabilitation project between the following limits: Cottage Street (S Plymouth Avenue to Magnolia Street) Magnolia Street (Cottage Street to Nellis Park) Seward Street (Magnolia Street to Reynolds Street) General scope of work for Cottage Street (S Plymouth Avenue to Magnolia Street) and Magnolia Street (Cottage Street to S Plymouth Avenue) consists of the milling and resurfacing of the existing pavement including full depth pavement replacement of select areas; installation of new stone curb and underdrain pipe; replacement of hazardous sidewalks; replacement of driveway aprons; installation of a new fiber optic conduit system; adjustment/replacement of existing catch basins and sewer manholes; replacement of existing hydrants; replacement of existing lead/galvanized water services and curb stops; adjustment of existing curb boxes and water valves; removal of 3 large trees and planting of new trees; and re-grading and hydro-seeding of all lawn areas disturbed by construction activities. General scope of work for Magnolia Street (S Plymouth Avenue to Nellis Park) and Seward Street (Magnolia Street to Reynolds Street) consists of the full depth pavement replacement of existing pavement; narrowing and realignment of portion of Magnolia Street; removal of the north bound slip-ramp from Magnolia Street to Seward Street; installation of new raised cross-walk on Seward Street at Reynolds Street; installation of new stone curb and underdrain pipe; replacement of hazardous sidewalks; replacement of driveway aprons; installation of a new fiber optic conduit system; installation of new street lighting system including conduit and pole foundations; adjustment/replacement of existing catch basins and sewer manholes; removal of existing water vault and installation of new 36” butterfly valve; replacement of existing hydrants; replacement of existing lead/galvanized water services and curb stops; adjustment of existing curb boxes and water valves; planting of new trees; and re-grading and hydro-seeding of all lawn areas disturbed by construction activities. |
