Description

Plans call for the construction of an eight-acre mixed-use development split in two sections, the Northern Section and the Southern Section. Includes a trio of towers featuring 986 apartments (including 200 affordable units) and nearly 40,000 square feet of commercial space to a narrow strip of land on a bluff overlooking L.A. Station Historic Park. This project will be located at 1251 North Spring Street and 1030 ? 1380 North Broadway. The Northern Section will include the construction of 355 residential units, 8,000 square feet of restaurant space, and 5,000 square feet of retail space. Plans also include a three-story below-grade parking garage with a three-story retail building on top, a six-story Courtyard Building, and a 15-story building. The Southern Section will include the construction of 631 residential units in two towers. The towers will stand 22-stories and 26-stories respectively. Plans also include the construction of 15,800 square feet of restaurant space, 10,000 square feet of retail, a three-story below-grade parking garage with a six-story Podium Building on top. As of July 13, 2022 this project is in the planning stages, and waiting to receive approval from the Planning Commission. Information regarding the selection of a general contractor has not been provided. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is not expected to begin before early 2023.*
