2020 Sludge Hauling Project

The project includes the following: Hauling and disposal of approximately 600,000 gallons per year of liquid sludge generated from two Bedminster Municipal Authority wastewater treatment plants: Elephant Road and Pennland Farms. The solids content of the liquid sludge is within an approximate range of 0.5% to 2.0% solids. Eligible firms are invited to bid on sludge hauling and disposal for either or both of the plants as well as on wastewater hauling (with same basic requirements as outlined above). Bids shall include all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, permits, facilities and appurtenances necessary to appropriately, under federal and state regulations, haul, use, process and/or dispose of sludge. The base contract length is two (2) years with an option to extend for an additional year on mutually acceptable terms. The Authority is also accepting bids for a five (5)-year contract with an option to extend for an additional year on mutually acceptable terms.
