Description | Provide professional services for a concept level design of renovation and expansion of the Sequim City Shop facilities and property located at 169 W Hemlock Street, Sequim, WA 98382 Working closely with City Staff, the consultant will develop a concept level design for the identification of needed facilities, upgrade of existing facilities and addition of new facilities, site plan layout for the property, and a budget level cost estimate for the resulting concept plan. The City reserves the right to extend and augment the contract to include finalizing a Master Plan for the property consisting of prioritizing facility renovation and construction, detailed design and construction cost estimates. The upgraded City Shop property is expected to provide administrative offices up to five (5) management and supervisory personnel; crew dispatch, training, lunchroom, work station, locker and wash room areas for thirty (30) operation employees; vehicle maintenance bays; facilities for storage for street, water, and sewer supplies; outdoor covered canopy parking for selected maintenance equipment and vehicles; uncovered parking for private vehicles; yard storage areas for maintenance materials; equipment and vehicle wash bay; a greenhouse for propagation and cultivation of street and park trees and vegetation; storage of police emergency management equipment; electric vehicle charging station; and a vehicle and equipment fueling station. A household hazardous waste and recycling drop off facility is currently located on the property. Utility services are available to the site including power, water, and sewer, but will require extension across the property. |
