Description The contractor shall provide all necessary transportation, labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision to clean the weapons range located on Joint Base Charleston-Air Base on a quarterly basis. The contractor will follow all applicable regulatory guidance. Scope of Work: a. Remove loose debris on the floor of the range with a vacuum equipped with a HEPA filter. b. Conduct a wet decontamination of exposed no porous surfaces (floors, walls, baffles, and front of bullet trap) in the range using water and mild surfactant. c. Prevent introduction of water to the bullet trap and auger system. d. Floor drains in the range will be blocked to prevent the discharge of fluid. e. Complete air monitoring for respirable metal (lead and chromium) dust during the performance of maintenance operations. f. Develop a list of damaged items or items that will require replacement and submit to the customer in the Security Forces Squadron. g. Sample the waste generated for RCRA metals to determine if it is a characteristic hazardous waste. h. Debris accumulated in the floor drain in the bullet trap area will be removed on an annual basis. i. Size of Area to be cleaned is estimated at 14,400 Square Feet. Estimated waste is 6, 50 gallon drums of solids generated annually.
