2020 Liquid Fuels Micorsurfacing Program

Project Location: A. The project is located in the Borough of Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. a. The project is located along portions of Lexington Road, Concord Place, Williamsburg Road, Gettysburg Drive, Jamestown Drive, Yorktown Street, Sycamore Drive, Lombardy Drive, Monticello Place, & West Ninth Street. A. Base Bid 1. Base Bid Locations: a. Concord Place, from Norway Drive to Lexington Road; b. Lexington Road, from Knapp Road to Williamsburg Road; c. Williamsburg Road, From Concord Place to Yorktown Street; d. Gettysburg Drive, from Norway Drive to Williamsburg Road; e. Jamestown Drive, from Williamsburg Road to North Wales Road; f. Monticello Place, from Norway Drive to Williamsburg Road; g. Yorktown Street, from Norway Drive to North Wales Road; h. Sycamore Drive, from Norway Drive to Williamsburg Road; i. Lombardy Drive, from Norway Drive to Williamsburg Road. 2. Base Repair. The contractor shall perform partial depth base repair at the locations shown on the project plans and other locations if and where directed by the engineer. All limits of base repair shall be marked with the engineer prior to excavating. 3. Microsurfacing. The contractor shall perform microsurfacing at locations shown on the project plans. All limits of microsurfacing shall be marked with the engineer prior to application. In general, microsurfacing shall include cleaning the existing surface, sealing all cracks and other incidental work. B. Alternate Bid #1 1. Alternate Bid #1 Location: a. West Ninth Street, from Moyers Road to Lansdale Wastewater Treatment Plant. 2. Base Repair. The contractor shall perform partial depth base repair at the locations shown on the project plans and other locations if and where directed by the engineer.
