Description

Supplying and installing City designated areas of asphaltic concrete paving in quantities of 01-200 tons or less, per project purchase order or visa authorization. Each project equal to or greater than $200,000.00 will require a payment and performance bond secured and paid for by the contractor. This contract will be utilized for small paving and resurfacing projects under 200 tons each. Expenditures are currently estimated to be $750,000.00 over the next five (5) years. The City shall enter into a three (3) year contract, with an option to renew for one (1) additional two (2) year period. The Contractor must be prequalified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in Flexible Pavement and Hot Plant Mixed Bituminous Course for this type of work and any associated work. A copy of said certification is to be submitted with the Bid Documents. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to verify with the City of Port St. Lucie Building Department that their current license allows them to perform this work prior to submitting a bid. Furnish all labor and materials, equipment, supervision and transportation necessary for the proper execution of the work unless specifically noted otherwise. The Contractor shall perform all the work as related to supplying and installing City designated areas of asphaltic concrete paving in quantities of two hundred (200) ton or less, per project. • Proposals must be submitted to the City within 7 business days of Project Managers request, unless otherwise noted. • Work can be requested as an individual project and must be completed within 30 days of the issuance of the purchase order unless otherwise noted.
