Jimmy Evert Tennis Center - Court Resurfacing

Consists of work necessary to resurface (18) Har-Tru tennis courts at the Jimmy Evert Tennis Center in two 6- court batteries each measuring 360' x 120', one 2-court battery measuring 120' x 120', one 2-court battery measuring 60' x 240' and two single courts each measuring 60' x 120'. Scope includes cleaning surface to remove visible surface algae and dead material; remove old lines and nails, scarify surface as needed, redistribute excess usable green rock from the low end to the high end, apply fifty-four (54) tons of new Har-Tru material(+/- 3 tons per court) laddered to fill in any lower areas or imperfections in the playing surface. Install new herringbone style line tapes secured with 2-1/2" aluminum nails to USTA specifications, re-paint net posts (green) and reinstall existing tennis nets with center straps, and anchor mates with locking bands. Courts rolled to initial firmness. All wastes will be disposed into contractor provided 20 yard dumpster
