Description | Work to be performed generally includes the supply and installation of the VFD drive, pump and motor, sinewave filter, drop pipe, downhole level transducer, monitoring control conduit, check valves, power cable, and pitless adaptor. Demolition of existing electrical equipment, pressure relief valve, vault, and associated appurtenances. Supply and installation of 4" DIP water main connecting pitless to existing raw water main. Supply and install the concrete meter vault, piping, valves, meters, pressure transducers, connection to existing and proposed raw water lines, and all appurtenances. Supply and install all electrical conduit, panels, controls, cabinets, plugs, switches, wiring, concrete pad, support structure, and necessary appurtenances. All instrumentation and control equipment, wiring, conduit, programming, and SCADA modification necessary for operation. Demolition of the piping section in the groundwater plant (GWP). Supply and install valves, pipes, meters, fittings, and appurtenances in GWP. Supply and installation of 6" PVC water line, connection to the existing raw water line, valves, fittings, bends, thrust blocks, and appurtenances. Obtain all necessary permits. Well D2 is located near Monument, CO in El Paso County. Qualifications of the BIDDERS should include experience in the installation of equipment for Denver Basin wells. Additional requirements include the ability to post performance and payment bonds, and the ability to deliver the material and equipment in conformance with specifications within the contract time. All technical questions must be in writing and directed to the ENGINEER, Nick Harris with JDS-Hydro at nick.harris@respec.com. The last day for submission of questions will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022. It is anticipated the Notice of Award will be given mid to late July 2022. |
