Description

Project Conditions: The project is located at the Deleware Water Gap National Recreation Area, Pennsylvania. The construction magnitude is between $5 and $10 million. The surrounding area is rural with limited staging located near the project site. Note any unique material delivery requirements. The construction site is approximately 25 miles from nearest suppliers and approximately 10 miles from lodging facilities. The Park will remain open during construction, thus contract activities and logistics must be structured and scheduled to minimize visitor impact. One lane of traffic will be maintained. The site requires protective measures to ensure the surrounding area remains undisturbed. The anticipated period of performance of 262 calendar days (March 1, 2022 – November 18, 2022) including any potential weather shutdown. Project Scope: The work will consist of pavement replacement of Highway 209 (MM 0-7) within DEWA. This work includes, but is not limited to, pavement milling and removal, full depth asphalt patching/replacement, asphalt construction, asphalt repairs, reclamation, shoulder repair, seeding. pavement markings, curbing, reclamation, sign installation, and construction and repair of drainage features and structures.
