Description

Qualified General Contractor to construct the Sterling Park Safety Center located at 104 Commerce Street, Sterling, Virginia 20164. The Sterling Park Safety Center Scope of Work consists of the demolition of the existing station and the construction of the new Sterling Park Safety Center. The work will be accomplished in multiple phases, outlined on G3.1 “Phasing Plan and Schedule” of the Contract Documents, while maintaining Fire and Rescue operations at all times. Phase 1.1 consists of removing the existing approximately 3,336 square foot auto shop and clearing the auto shop site and fire station south parking lot. Phase 1.2 includes the construction of the interim site and approximately 5,697 square foot, combination modular and spring structure facility. Interim site construction includes a small staff and visitor surface parking area that may double function as a construction site entrance, construction of emergency apparatus vehicular paving, small patio, earthwork & grading, utilities, storm drainage, and storm water management.
