Spillway Conditions Assessment Phase II

This contract is for furnishing labor equipment and material for the repair and maintenance as well as cleaning the slab chutes and walls of the spillway, conducting core drilling and smaller probe holes to video inspect the underside of the spillway slabs, clean out spillway sub-drains and video inspect the sub-drains on spillways at three District Dams. The work to be done is located in Peters Dam, Soulajule Dam, and Seeger Dam all withinthe County of Marin, California. The prevailing rate of wages in the locality in which work is to be performed has been ascertained by the District and published under the provisions of Section 1773 of the California Labor Code. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in said bids. On this contract, eight hours shall constitute a legal day's work. Work beyond eight hours shall be paid at a rate not less than one and one-half times the prevailing rates. Wage rates for Sundays and holidays shall be paid at a rate not less than two times the prevailing rates. The Contractor performing work under this contract shall possess a class A or C8 Contractor's license which is valid in the State of California at the time the contract is awarded.
