Description | For the furnishing of all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, superintendence and labor, etc., for the Jersey Meadow Golf Course Convention Center and Club House for the City of Jersey Village, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the City of Jersey Village in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents. The bid security of the successful bidder will be retained until such bidder has executed the Agreement, whereupon the bid security will be returned. If the successful bidder fails to execute and deliver the Agreement within fifteen days after the Notice of Award, Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the bid security of that bidder will be forfeited. Bid security with bids which are not competitive will be returned within ten days after the Bid Opening. Bids without check or bond will not be considered. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on the forms provided each in the amount of 100% of the Contract price from a surety company licensed by the State of Texas. Complete sets of the bidding documents may be obtained at the offices of PGAL Architects 3131 Briarpark Dr Suite 200, Houston, TX 77042. For each set of plans and specifications issued, a non-refundable charge of $100.00 will be required. Checks shall be made payable to PGAL. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. In case of lack of clarity in stating prices, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or reject the bid. Prospective bidders shall carefully examine the specifications and other documents, visit the site of the Work and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which can in any way affect the Work or the costs thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the plans, specifications or other documents or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he should at once notify PGAL and obtain clarifications by written addendum prior to submitting any bid. |
