Description

Upgrade of Vernon Wastewater Pump Station The Project includes the following Work: The Project consists of the upgrade of the Town of Ellington’s Vernon Wastewater Pump Station at 100 Windsorville Rd, Vernon, CT. The pump station upgrade includes 215 LF of ductile iron force main piping with associated trench and pavement restoration, bypass pumping during construction. Replacement of 3 dry pit submersible pumps and associated process piping, valves, piping supports. Upgrades to the HVAC, masonry re-pointing, roofing, wet well repairs, materials provided by owner, electrical improvements, instrumentation and controls, hazardous material remediation, and ancillary items. To expedite material procurement, the Ellington Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) pre-purchased the following equipment: 1-Sluice Gate with ancillary equipment,1-Generator set, automatic transfer switch with ancillary equipment and 3-Sewage Pumps, VFD s, and control cabinets with ancillary equipment.
