Prequalification of Prospective Bidders for the Belmont Beach and Aquatics Center Project The proposed Project will consist of a new outdoor pool complex including a 12,320 square foot, 50-meter x 25-meter all-deep (main) pool with a partial movable floor system, a 4,560 square foot recreation pool, a 1,000 square foot teaching pool, a 500 square foot spa, a 5,660 square foot diving well, 1,555 permanent bleacher seats with an ETFE canopy shade structure. A 15,181 square foot, 29-foot high pool facility support structure with ETFE roof structure is proposed at deck level with locker rooms, offices, food concessions, changing rooms, pump/equipment, and utility (MEP/ data/security) rooms and storage rooms. A plinth wall will surround the entire structure, and a retaining wall will support new fill used to raise the floor deck level to an elevation of approximately 7 feet above the surrounding grade. The pool chemicals will be stored in an ancillary building on the west edge of the plinth for safe and efficient deliveries. The existing Myrtha pool to the east will remain as part of the project, be renovated, and have new restrooms/showers, a ticket booth, and new seating installed. PN - 20140185-G1222
