S. Front Street Parking Lot

Wormleysburg Borough will receive bids for the S. Front Street Parking Lot Project. The work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the construction of a parking lot, drainage facilities, site amenities, and other work specified in the contract. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10 percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Interested bidders need to register at the PennBID website. Once registered, bidders can obtain all project documents and submit and update their bids online. Only those questions submitted via Electronically shall be considered. Questions received after 5:00 PM, Thursday, June 1, 2023, regarding the project will not be acknowledged. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and is subject to provisions of: the Davis-Bacon Act of March 3, 1931, as amended, and wages must be paid by contractors according to the U.S. Labor Departments Wage Decision included in the specifications provisions of Section 3 of the Housing Act of 1968 the Presidents Executive Order 11246 or any other order which prohibits discrimination in employment.
