Bayou Drive, Fairway Boulevard, Fairhope Avenue Transmission System

The project will consist of installing approximately 5300 linear, in multiple segments, 24” HDPE DR 11 (or 18” Fusible PVC) to be directionally bored along Fairhope Ave, Fairwood Drive, and Bayou Drive, where it will terminate at Section Street into a new gravity sewer main. The proposed gravity sewer will consist of approximately 1400 linear feet of 24” C-900 DR 18 sewer pipe, with several manholes. One section will be pile supported for approximately 200 linear feet. Connections will be required within the Fairhope Water Reclamation Facility requiring a by-passing operation of approximately 3 million gallons per day for a period of time necessary to perform work within the plant. This work will be will also provide an alternative for direct bury of sewer force main
