Construction of two concrete slab bridges and other related incidental work

The projects are located: C-54(609B) - on 513 Avenue between 896 Road and Highway in Knox County, Nebraska and C-14(820) - on 883 Road between 565 Avenue and 566 Avenue in Cedar County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as "STWDCBMP(6): C-54(609B) & C-14(820)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of: C-54(609B) - three span 150' concrete slab bridge on a 0 degree skew with a 28' clear roadway and C-14(820) - three span 130' concrete slab bridge on a 15 degree (rhb) skew with a 28' clear roadway, channel shaping, roadway grading and other related incidental work. The Knox County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of Knox County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the projects with its Bid Proposal. The desired completion date is May 1, 2024. The successful bidder (i.e. Contractor) will be allowed one hundred-twenty (120) calendar days for completion of each bridge after beginning work at either site. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract.
