Additions To Cherokee County Fire Training Center

This project consists of additions to the Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services Training Center located at 3985 Holly Springs Parkway, Holly Springs GA 30115. The additions include an approximately 3,190 square foot single story expansion of the Training Center which includes new offices and classroom areas and associated storage. The large classroom area includes an operable partition system to allow it to be divided into two smaller classrooms. The new addition will be preengineered metal building construction with gypsum board and metal framed interior walls. The building exterior will be a mixture of pre-engineered metal building panels and brick veneer to continue the look of the existing facade. The site work will include demolition of some existing parking area, construction of new parking and connection to other facilities on the campus via a new set of concrete exterior stairs. The generator that powers multiple buildings on this campus is also being replaced in this project’s scope. Scope also includes replacement of security system for entire facility.
