Description | As of September 28, 2022, developers for this project have been identified. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025 or 2026. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- The City seeks a qualified developer to form a public/private partnership with the City for a 22.8 acre residential mixed-use development in the Main Street Neighborhood at, Alameda Point, the former Naval Air Station Alameda and one of the most unique infill development opportunities in the country. The Site is just north of the first phase of the $1 billion mixed-use Site A development with 680 housing units, 93,000 square feet of retail and 8 acres of parks, open space and waterfront development. With close downtown San Francisco, a 20-minute ferry ride away, West Midway represents one of the most significant development opportunities in the country. Requests for Information (RFI's) are due by Thursday, September 6, 2018. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. |
