Description

The objective of this project will be to rehabilitate, preserve and repair building finishes to address building deficiencies, deterioration, and damage, to preserve and maintain the historic integrity of the building. The project is necessary to protect the investment the NPS has made over the decades in rehabilitating and maintaining the building to preserve its historic integrity. The primary work of this project includes but is not limited to exterior rehabilitation of the Historic Atwood Higgins House including windows, doors, siding, masonry and drainage. Additional high priority repair work includes repairing, sealing areas of siding and trim damaged by rodents.
