Mead Hall Hurley Hall Niejadlik Hall Central Chiller Replacement

Replacement of the central air-cooled chiller with hydronic pumps serving Mead, Hurley and Niejadlik Halls. Base Bid 1. Modifications to the existing masonry chiller enclosure creating new permanent access opening within one end of enclosure. Work includes installation of one new rolling door assembly. 2. Site work including saw cutting, trenching/excavation, backfilling, re-paving, re-grading to match existing grade conditions allowing for removal of existing piping and providing new pre-insulated hydronic piping between Mead Hall mechanical room and exterior chiller enclosure. 3. Mechanical (HVAC) work associated with selective demolition of existing remote barrel chiller(s), base mounted pumps and associated controls and piping. Installing new packaged air-cooled centrifugal chillers, base mounted pumps, new underground pre-insulated piping system, hydronic piping and controls modifications supporting new chillers. 4. Electrical work supporting removal and installation of Chillers, Hydronic Pumps, and variable frequency controllers (VFCs) serving new chiller pumps. Replacement of the central air-cooled chiller with hydronic pumps serving Mead, Hurley and Niejadlik Halls. Question Deadline 06/02/2023
