Hemisfair Civic Park

Civic Park is meant to be the anchor for this bold vision of Hemisfair. The Park is located just to the north of Yanaguana Garden on the northwest zone of the Hemisfair District. It has direct Riverwalk and Convention Center access and is adjacent to the Torch of Friendship sculpture and the south gateway to the Alamo. When it is completed, Civic Park will be a stunning urban green space in the heart of San Antonio, offering enriching and captivating experiences that will draw people together to celebrate and embolden our community. With its beautiful tree lined promenade, expansive lawn areas, exquisite gardens, relaxed gathering spaces and tranquil water features, Civic Park will be lauded as one of the world’s great urban parks for years to come.
