Description | The work to be performed shall consist of providing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary: 1. Work involves construction of new HMAC surfaced parking lot, curbs, sidewalks and associated work. Scope of work includes. a. Selective demolition of existing site features b. Concrete and asphalt sawing c. Concrete curbs and sidewalks d. Excavation, fill, and grading of site. e. HMAC pavement f. Striping and painting. The engineer's construction cost opinion for this project is: $210,000 Condon School District also reserves the right to waive any informality in connection with said bid or to postpone the award of the Contract for sixty days. Attention is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. 7.01 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. 7.02 Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, or change the Bidding Documents as deemed advisable by Owner or Engineer. 7.03 Addenda will be issued to each attendee of the pre-bid conference who indicates that they intend to bid on the project, and to each plan center where the bidding documents are posted. Addenda will be issued via e-mail. |
