MCSTOPPP Full Trash Capture Device - 205.5 - City of San Rafael

In recent years, the State of California has mandated that cities comply with requirements to remove trash and debris from waterways by 2030. This project will implement a full trash capture device at one of two storm drain pump stations to remove trash before entering the San Francisco Bay. This project is partially funded through an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grant awarded to the County of Marin, who is partnering with the City of San Rafael to implement this project. This project is in included in the City of San Rafael FY 2022-2025 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of july 27, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
