ADJ Hangar Lighting Replacement

AASF1 Green: 5999 W Airport Dr AASF2 Rickenbacker: 7370 Minuteman Way Replace and upgrade existing fluorescent lighting fixtures with new LED lighting fixtures and controls at two Army Aviation Support Facilities: Green North Canton and Rickenbacker. At Green North Canton, the existing lighting system to be replaced includes lighting in the hangar bay, hangar bay egress, offices, hallways, restrooms, shops, and storage rooms. The hangar bay lighting consists of 84 each 6 lamp T-5 fluorescent fixtures. There are four rows of 14 fixtures over the main hangar bay floor and 2 additional rows of 14 fixtures over the Bay extension. At Rickenbacker, the existing lighting system to be replaced includes lighting in the hangar bay and hangar bay egress lighting. The hangar bay lighting consists of 116 each 6 lamp T-8 fluorescent fixtures. There are seven rows of 14 fixtures over the main hangar bay floor and 2 additional rows of nine fixtures over two separate catwalks. At a minimum, maintenance operations in an aircraft hangar require between 75-100 foot candles. The Ohio Army National Guard (OHARNG) is targeting a lighting system that provides more than the minimum light level in addition to an optimal light color and CRI. Contingencies must be provided to offset lighting glare and maximize daylight harvesting. The Design-Builder shall provide all lighting solutions, control strategies, photometric analysis and design, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, rental equipment, and all other items necessary to complete the work.
