Description

To perform Professional Environmental Services for a Lead-Based Paint (LBP) Risk Assessment stated herein for properties located in the Manchester neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. vendor shall conduct a Lead Risk Assessment which will include field inspections/sampling activities to be performed by a Certified Lead-Risk Assessor in accordance with EPA and HUD Regulations & Guidelines. Testing will measure concentrations of all deteriorated interior and exterior painted, varnished and friction surfaces through X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analysis; dust sampling through Lead Dust Wipe Sampling of interior floors/sills. Dust sampling is to be performed in accordance with ASTM Standards. For irregular surfaces or areas not accessible with an XRF, paint chip samples are to be collected and analyzed. Testing will be conducted in apartment units as well as common areas. In addition, composite soil samples will be collected from areas with bare soil (if present), along roof drip lines, high contact areas, and play areas.
