| Description | The project work will include safeguarding twenty-six (26) features; including thirteen (13) shafts and thirteen (13) adits. Closure methods will include machine and hand backfill, grating, grating with bat ladders and access, corrugated steel pipes and bulkhead with access. The work is on private property, Boulder County Open Space and property managed by the United States Forest Service. The project is located fifteen (15) miles west of Boulder, Colorado. Access to the site is from Boulder Canyon (CO-119) to Sugarloaf Road (CR-122) to Switzerland Trail (CR-120). |
