Pedestrian Gates

Permanent installation of tamper-resistant gates to be installed at the south end of the pedestrian walkways, along with opening four access points along the chain-link walkways. The access points to be located as follows: • Two (2) on the northbound walkway, two (2) on southbound walkway. Installation of two (approximately 8’) lockable rolling chain link gates at the two new southbound walkway access points only. • Contractor shall protect all existing demarcation and shall bear full financial responsibility for any damages caused by the Contractor, or the Contractor’s employees, due to negligence or failure of the Contractor to ensure that reasonable precautions are taken to prevent damages. Any damage to all existing international demarcation shall be repaired by the Contractor, at no cost to the Government, to match original conditions.
