Phase one includes construction of 600 residential units, 100,000 square feet of retail space that will include a 37,000-square-foot grocery store, and the four-acre park. Phase two calls for the construction of 55,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a 430-space visitor parking garage, the half-acre town square, another 600 residential units, 600,000 square feet of office space, and the 1,750-space North Garage. Phase three is expected to include the boutique hotel, 110,000 square feet of retail space, the remaining 300 residential units, and 600,000 square feet of office space. Hart Howerton is the master planner for Willow Village. The Final Environmental Impact Report was released in October 2022. The City of Menlo Park is currently reviewing the development plans and could make a decision regarding its approval later this year. The project is in the early stages of the environmental regulation approval process. The final project timeline starts infrastructure work in late 2023 and begins construction of the highly anticipated grocery store in 2025.
