Supervision of Construction Services for Contract No. T200.569, Roadway Lighting Repairs, Interchanges 7A and 8A

Contract No. T200.569 is expected to be awarded at the December 2021 Commission Meeting and will consist of roadway lighting and power distribution upgrades at New Jersey Turnpike Interchanges 7A and 8A. Work will include the removal of existing Turnpike-owned series connected roadway lighting systems and installation of a multiple phase power distribution system with LED luminaires, including new conduit (where existing cannot be reused) and wiring to include a dedicated neutral wire for each phase. In addition to downed light pole locations, new light poles are proposed for this project in areas where it is feasible to extend the lighting zones. The estimated construction cost for Contract No. T200.569 is approximately $9,000,000 with an estimated duration for construction of fourteen (14) months, including contract closeout.
