Description

8th Street Extension project consisting of three independent schedules of work. The Schedule One (1) work includes: 1 lump sum (LS) mobilization; 1 LS Stormwater Management Plan; 1 LS existing utility potholing; 840 lineal feet (LF) of 6-inch C900 DR18 PVC water pipe; 3 each (EA) connection to existing pipelines; 3 EA of 4-inch gate valve; 4 EA of 6-inch gate valve; 1 EA of 6-inch fire hydrant assembly; 15 EA of 1-inch service tap on PVC; 405 LF of 1-inch SIDR7 polyethylene service line; 1 LS to remove existing utilities as shown on Sheet 3 of the drawings; 600 LF of 8-inch C900 SDR35 PVC sanitary sewer pipe; 1 EA to remove and dispose of existing manhole; 3 EA of new manholes; 2 EA of connection to existing 8-inch VCP sanitary sewer; 1 LS bypass pumping; together with all incidental materials of construction, complete in place. The Schedule Two (2) work includes: 1 LS mobilization; 1 LS cut permits complete with traffic control plans pursuant to the requirements of the City of Scott County; 1 LS clear and grub topsoil; 90 square yards (SY) sawcut and remove asphalt; 543 square ft (SF) 6-inch compacted base coarse; 543 SF concrete cross pan; 3,073 SY of 4-inch base coarse and 4-inch thick hot mix asphalt; 1,580 LF of curb and gutter; together with all incidental materials of construction, complete in place. The Schedule 3 work includes: 1 LS mobilization; 1 LS Stormwater Management Plan; 1 LS cut permits complete with traffic control plans pursuant to the requirements of the City of Scott City; 15 SY sawcut and remove asphalt; 8 SY of 4-inch base coarse and 4 inch thick hot mix asphalt; 462 LF of curb and gutter; together with all incidental materials of construction, complete in place. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City of Scott City (Owner) negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with the Bid. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the president's Executive Order No. 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity) as amended.
